About
Marilyn Fulls
Adv.Dip. Integrative Counsellor
I am a qualified integrative counsellor, having completed my advanced training between 2019 and 2021. Over the past three years, I’ve built my private practice to support adults through life’s transitions, challenges and moments of uncertainty. As a mother of two adult children, I bring both personal insight and a strong professional background in business and the charitable sector. This experience has shaped my grounded, compassionate approach, blending pastoral care with practical clarity.
I believe that deeper self-understanding is profoundly empowering. Through thoughtful exploration and reflection, counselling can help create clarity, restore a sense of agency and open up new possibilities for change - especially when life leaves you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or out of control. My practice is rooted in respect, empathy and self-compassion, offering a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard, supported and empowered to move forward.
Areas of Support
People seek counselling for many different reasons you do not need to be in crisis to benefit from professional support. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply seeking greater clarity, I provide a compassionate space to explore what matters to you.
I work with adults experiencing:
- Anxiety, stress and feeling overwhelmed
- Low mood, depression, or overwhelming emotional pain
- The impact of past trauma or difficult life experiences
- Depression and suicidal thoughts
- Relationship difficulties and communication challenges
- Loss, grief, or significant life transitions
- Struggles with self-esteem, confidence, or self-worth
- Feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure about the future
- Struggles with self-harm or emotional distress
If your concern isn’t listed here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Every person’s journey is unique and I’m happy to discuss whether counselling might be a helpful step for you.
My Approach
I founded Full Bloom Counselling with the belief that we all have the potential to blossom and thrive. My work is grounded in a person-centred, integrative approach, which means I don’t impose a fixed agenda or set solutions.
Instead, I work with you and where you find yourself, helping you clarify your goals and co-create a path forward towards the changes you want to see, in a way that feels authentic to you. Drawing on a range of evidence-based techniques, I tailor our sessions to your unique needs.
Deeper self-understanding can transform how you relate to your thoughts, emotions and relationships.
Often, the stories we tell ourselves are shaped by past experiences and may no longer serve us.
Together, we can gently examine these narratives, identify unhelpful patterns and cultivate new perspectives that align with who you are today and who you wish to become.
I aim to provide a calm, emotionally safe space where past experiences can be explored with care and without judgment, helping you gain clarity about yourself and the changes you may wish to make. Your safety and privacy are my highest priorities. All sessions are strictly confidential and conducted in line with professional ethical guidelines, ensuring you can speak openly without fear.
I currently offer sessions for adults (18+) both online and in person, in a quiet, supportive environment designed to foster your wellbeing.
